Mid-September Operation in Red River County

On September 18, the Red River County Sheriff’s Office’s Street Crimes Unit, aided Clarksville Police, executed a search warrant at a residence on 600 West 11th Street in Clarksville. During the search, investigators uncovered several controlled substances—including methamphetamine and THC wax—and located a motorcycle previously reported stolen from Red River County.


Suspects Named, Charges Levied

Authorities took into custody the following four suspects:

  • Kenneth Ronald Hart, 37
  • Mary Katherine Williams, 27
  • Mark Richard Murphree, 62
  • Leslie Walker Murphree, 55

Each faces multiple charges, including:

  • Manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance (Penalty Group 1, >1g <4g)
  • Possession of a controlled substance (Penalty Groups 2 & 3)
  • Marijuana possession (<2 ounces)
  • Theft of property ($2,500–$30,000)
  • Engaging in organized criminal activity

Additionally:

  • Mary Katherine Williams is booked on a Titus County warrant for violation of probation related to forgery of a financial instrument.
  • Mark Richard Murphree is also charged with tampering with evidence.
